Minsait
Unlocking the potential of data through excellent digital experiences is one of the formulas that more and more companies are using to activate their brand and drive growth. Because it generates authority and fosters reciprocity with all stakeholders. A safe bet, really.
This is a path that Minsait (Grupo Indra), a leading IT company in our country, has traveled through Ascendant: an annual report in which they study, through interviews with clients, the technological and digital maturity of businesses across Spain's corporate landscape.
From the moment our paths crossed we had a clear horizon: we aspired to improve conversion and web traffic through quality content tailored to each consumption style (online, offline...).
To do this, from Soluble, we set out to bring the report to the next level in the areas of visual design, UX, UI, and technology.
Intensive data mining was necessary to immerse ourselves in the project's reality and, of course, to work shoulder to shoulder with the people who brought the knowledge needed to unlock the power of information. Ultimately, to make the report look as good as it actually is.

Diving in to know and understand
To immerse ourselves in the reality of the Ascendant Report, we followed our usual approach: we studied all team documentation to empathize with their audiences, detect technological needs, and fully understand the creation process executed from Minsait. We also conducted a benchmark, identifying competitors and references, and held a workshop with the team.
This is how we understood that this report opens the door to great knowledge because experts work with high-value data and the methodology is disruptive. A powerful idea also emerged that facilitated—and strengthened—the work: that of a more human technological revolution. Data and knowledge at the service of people who need to understand and make decisions. Another sure bet.

A step forward in experience
During the immersion phase, the product team worked to understand every atom of the report—what was displayed at each moment and what the user could do with that information. This opened the possibility to create an intuitive, familiar, and approachable experience for any type of user, using interface elements we're all comfortable with, like the filter bar you see in any e-commerce.
A case in point: the previous website had a filter that allowed you to show (or hide) extra information, and we questioned whether it made sense to see the chart without it. After this work, we were clear: we added that information by default and removed that filter, because it didn't add as much value as encountering the knowledge at first glance.
We repeated this procedure with every parameter, every data point, to fine-tune the experience and compose it with the best possible harmony.
Additionally, we ensured that information was easily consumable across all devices, designed the sitemap, and created wireframes that provided a global view and helped optimize the entire user journey.
A congruent and enabling interface
Following the visual identity provided by Minsait's Brand Center, we worked to bring an innovative angle with the goal of modernizing the perception of data visualization. This way, information is consumed in a more didactic and engaging manner.
A broader color palette and a wider range of visual elements and resources—cards, navigation, charts…—smoothed the user's path while maintaining consistency across Minsait's other touchpoints.

Development to bring plans to life
With the product design finalized, our Tech team, which had been present throughout the process to make decisions that added value to the project, got to work.
In this case we worked with a custom WordPress theme built from scratch, with plugins validated by Minsait. Technology also handled adapting the library and customizing existing charts to unleash the team's creativity so that the potential of knowledge had no limits.
