On the occasion of the celebration of the new edition of the 4YFN, the premier networking event between startups and investors of Mobile World Capital Barcelona, linked to the Mobile World Congress, from Soluble Studio we wanted to do our part in the development of these new companies, organizing a Brand Lab for all those attending the event who want professional feedback on their brand.
What is the Brand Lab?
Brand Lab is a series of small, personalized in-person sessions where startup founders or core team members walk us through their project so we can jointly assess their brand health.
During Brand Lab, we'll cover:
- Core branding concepts and their benefits.
- Your brand's most critical touchpoints.
- How those touchpoints have been executed.
- What's working well.
- Quick wins and improvements you can make on the spot.
- What you stand to gain by refining those interactions.
It's not elegant to say, but we'll spell it out just in case you're wondering: no cost and no commitment.

Why do we do it then?
One of the goals that has driven us to carry out this activity is to make startups aware of the importance of branding and the need to create and activate their brand across different touchpoints.
Working day in and day out with startups from different sectors, we've noticed it's common to find teams that pour all their effort into perfecting the product or service they offer, setting their brand aside and unaware of a phrase we love to repeat:
- Having a brand isn't essential, it's inevitable.
On the other hand, if we're in a position to help improve branding health in the startup ecosystem, we should try everything we can think of. The Brand Lab's goal is to reach a few key conclusions with each startup that can be implemented easily and thus lay the groundwork for building solid, exciting brands.
A practical sample of what could come to be
These sessions, at the end of the day, are a useful demonstration of what we do at the studio day in and day out, at greater scope and depth.
Often, due to the pace that typically prevails, startups haven't had the opportunity to pause and define a solid strategic foundation on which to build a strong brand that accompanies the project's own development. This situation often generates friction between different touchpoints that's worth resolving.
