Train your brand with Marina Aísa: Working as a contractor for Apple or IBM

Podcasts

We are what we manage to build with our circumstances. Today more than ever, with the circumstances we've been given to live through, standing still is not an option.

That's why we want to have special and different episodes of our Solublabla podcast. Special episodes called #TrainYourBrand like the initiative we have open on our website and that we invite you to discover. If you have a brand and this situation concerns you, maybe we can help.

In this episode we'll have, as always, Ismael Barros and Máximo Gavete, and we'll be joined by a good friend of Soluble, Marina Aísa, a frontend developer for brands like Apple, IBM, and Holaluz. We'll chat with her about her relationship as "contractor" with these major brands, among other things.

«As a contractor I know I need to have a personal brand beyond the brand of the company I'm working for.»

Who?

Marina is a UX engineer (digital product design and front-end development) working remotely as a contractor/freelancer for international companies from Barcelona. She studied multimedia engineering in Helsinki and Hong Kong, has worked for both multinationals and startups, and loves traveling around the world whenever she can. She's interested in every visual aspect of the web, from its design to its development as well as usability, performance, and accessibility. She's also interested in feminism and LGBTQ+ rights. Her surname is Aragonese, like Zaragoza (Spain), where she was born 24 years ago with her two twin brothers.
