Dozen has earned its stripes as the leading online venture capital fund in the Iberian peninsula. A platform where you can invest in innovative and relevant businesses from €3,000 onwards. After eight years operating as The Crowd Angel, they asked us to help position their brand where it belonged, resulting in a Brand Strategy, naming, Brand Identity, web design, and Digital Product development and design project.

The perfect host

The figure of the perfect host articulates the entire strategy. It's a reality that the care, involvement, and attention of everyone on the Dozen team is comparable to that of the best host: selecting guests, connecting them, and supporting them, ensuring everything is perfect.

A group of twelve

Twelve is the solar number par excellence, a symbol of order and perfection, laden with symbolism especially in Mediterranean culture, where it speaks to us of harmony and purity. On numerous occasions it represents a relevant and select group of people with the capacity to change things. A complete, balanced, perfect structure.

Perfection in the visual realm too

Platonic or perfect solids are polyhedra formed by regular polygons exactly identical to one another. Specifically, the dodecahedron is formed by twelve equal regular pentagons and harbors within it a curious secret: the Dozen symbol.

The dodecahedron encloses the intersection of three rectangles with golden proportions such that each of the twelve vertices of the resulting figure coincides with the inner center of each of the twelve pentagonal faces of the polyhedron.

Dozen creates an environment where everything fits and thrives, building unity and caring for details with precision.

We work with a symbol-object that can be constructed in three dimensions and that you can touch. Somewhat surprised, we watch how a strong attachment to this new element emerges and the feeling of belonging to the company shoots up simply from holding their logo in your hands.

The entire visual system is born from the geometry of the symbol itself and from the imagery of select environments, where hosts take care to bring in the right people at each moment and ensure that everything turns out perfect.

ONLINE PRESENCE

We helped Dozen tell its value proposition on its website and update its product with everything it has learned over these years. New navigation, flows, structure, and usage patterns that come to life with a new design system born from the new visual identity and that imagery of the perfect host. In this case we were also able to handle all frontend programming and backend updates to prepare it for the new phase.

RESULTS

We'll keep watching the new numbers that the new product and website will deliver, but we can already see the first benefits of undertaking a process like this: team attachment and the feeling of belonging. Renewed energy and drive, complete alignment, and the confidence that objectives that once seemed like distant dreams can be achieved.
